Reflecting on our Resilience, Innovation, and Commitment to Racial Justice
April 6-8, 2021
During April 6-8, more than 100 Clubhouses in 20 countries around the world convened virtually for the 2021 Clubhouse Annual Conference. Over 150 Clubhouse staff, directors, and partners from academia, research, government, and the corporate sector attended.
The Clubhouse Network believes deeply in the importance of professional development for staff, and to build community to come together, build skills, share ideas, reflect on experiences, and plan for the future. This year’s conference was a combination of large plenary sessions, smaller workshops, a virtual project fair, and plenty of networking opportunities.
PHASE 4 Learning Center contributed to the conference by co/hosting several sessions on Youth Leadership at your Clubhouse, Implementing a Career Pathways Program and Alumni and Staff Retention.
In these unprecedented difficult times The Network has heard the stories of the numerous ways Clubhouses are surviving and thriving while supporting youth to be healthy, connected, and creative. This Conference was a testimony to the Resilience, Innovation, and Commitment to Racial Justice that each Clubhouse strives for. Together, as a Network.
