On Thursday, May 10, 2018, students from PHASE 4 Pleasant Hills attended a S.T.E.M. Summit at Robert Morris University. The program included keynote speakers, a panel of industry leaders, and a Q & A session. After the morning activities, the students went on two site visits.
The first visit was to Zoll, the creator and manufacturer of Life Vest, a wearable life saving device with a built in heart monitor and defibrillator. The tour was fast paced and informative.
The second visit was to Inventionland where the students participated in a STEM challenge. The students were very engaged and had a lot of fun. The tour ended with a Q&A session.
